On Tuesday, 18thSeptember, at the Ministry of Culture there was a press conference organized by the National Operetta Theatre "Ion Dacian" with the occasion of the opening of the season, which would be an absolutely atypical one due to the renovation of the National Theatre, that determined the operetta to end its activity in that building, whom we have known for decades.

Therefore, as both the Minister of Culture Puiu Hașotti and the National Operetta Theatre's general manager, Răzvan Ioan Dincă, there will tours all around the country, meaning 27 shows, which I think it's too much, in the main Romanian cities with 7 titles of which Countess Mariza in Constanta on 22thSeptember, then there will also be the musical Romeo and Juliet, technically adapted for other stages, than fragments of other shows, carefully chosen in order to meet the expectations of each city's audience.

Moreover, they announced that there will be a few tours abroad, for example at Budapest, with Romeo and Juliet with the same cast as we have seen it at the theatre, with the Romanian-Hungarian collaboration, then there will be tours in places such as Kiev and Yerevan and many other places. The festival that already became a tradition will also take place.
