BACH MARATHON at the Radio Hall, under the Baton of Tiberiu Soare

Wednesday, 20 February 2013 , ora 8.07

You are invited at the Radio Hall on Wednesday, 27th February, 2013, for a real BACH "marathon", including three of the Brandenburg concertos, often referred to as the finest Baroque compositions, and the Concerto in F Minor for Cello and Orchestra. While Răzvan Suma has presented the two editions of his 2012 soloist tour entitled "Do You Like BACH?" to the audiences in seventeen Romanian cities, this time, he will perform alongwith the Radio Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of the charismatic Tiberiu Soare, the main conductor of the National Radio Orchestra, starting from this very season.

The Brandenburg concertos were dedicated to Christian Ludwig, margrave of Brandenburg - Schwedt, as the name already suggests. From the total of six such works, you will be listening to the following: Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major,Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D Major and Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 in B Flat Major. You will applaud the following soloists: Gabriel Dănilă - violin (soloist and instrumentist - principal second violin of the Radio Chamber Orchestra),

Constanța Cazacu - flute (soloist and instrumentist - principal violin, a member of the Radio Chamber Orchestra) and Alexandru Petrovici - harpsichord (pianist, conductor and baritone, an artist with an impressive and diversified musical career).
