Famous soprano Elena Moșuc is Luminița Arvunescu’s guest at a special edition of ‘An Evening at the Opera’, broadcast live on radio (97.6 and 104.8 FM) and in audio-video on the www.romania-muzical.ro website, on Tuesday, 17th December, between 19:30 and 21:00. The repeat of the show will rescheduled on Saturday, 4th January, at 19:00, on Radio Romania Music and Radio Romania Culture, and we will broadcast Elena Moșuc’s newest album, Donizetti’s Heroines, for the first time in Romania.

Both the audio and the audio-video recordings of the radio show will be posted on www.romania-muzical.ro, as well as on the YouTube account of Romania’s only radio station dedicated to classical music.

Together with soprano Laura Tătulescu and mezzosoprano Ruxandra Donose, Elena Moșuc will be the star of the event concert at the Radio Hall (Friday, 20th December, 19:00). Considered one of the most important Romanian singers of the moment, Elena Moșuc has tied her career to the Zürich Opera House, where she has sung memorable parts (Lucia in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lamermoor, Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute etc.). She has also been applauded on prestigious stages in Europe (among which the Teatro alla Scala in Milan), Japan and China. Elena Moșuc’s records have been received well by the international critique; among the conductors and singers she has collaborated with, there are Placido Domingo, Roberto Alagna, Rolando Villazon, Colin Davis, David Zinman and others.
