The first journey to the future proposed by the Brave New Music Festival starts on Tuesday, the 13th of October 2020, at 7 PM, at Sala Selbing at StatePhilarmonic Orchestra of Sibiu (Sala Mică). Mezzo-soprano Antonela Bârnat studied in Bucharest with soprano Georgeta Stoleriu and has a vast repertoire, both a Romanian and an international one. Cello player Andreia Țimiraș studied in Bucharest and performed in Italy, Spain, USA, Tunisia, Latvia, her attraction to contemporary music being materialized in the awardsshe had gotten for the renditionof such works. Together, they make up a one-of-a-kind duo who proposes a fully Romanian repertoire. The music is intertwined withUrmuz'spoetry, and the poetry joins the audience, live, through poet Radu Vancu's presence and his guests.
