Tuesday night season has begun for the eighth time on 11^th October. The pianist Cătălin Răducanu came back for the third time on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum's Small Hall with a chamber recital, together with a new name to the Tuesday seasons - the violin player Andra Ioana Ţăpurică. They came driven by the enthusiasm of their age - Andra Ioana is only 19 years old, a student of the National University of Music Bucharest, in the classroom of the reputed violinist, Gabriel Croitoru. I enjoyed the young violinist's virtuosity, even if she showed some signs of problems in intonation, I enjoyed the musicality, solemnity and interest in approaching different styles: baroque, classic and impressionist.

Cătălin Răducanu came with the experience of his previous performaces, proved that he is a mature musician with a very good piano technique, a musician who knows to listen, to be in communication with his stage partner, to give a 'musical response' and make a coherent speech. This chamber experience, hopefully not his last, will complete his performances centred on the lead singer, as himself admits: 'It is a challenge. I can say that it is harder, but also easier because you have a bigger responsibility when you are by yourself, but somehow it is harder to play chamber music than be just a piano player.'

Cătălin Răducanu and Andra Ioana Ţăpurică have completed each other, are trying to get to know each other, to define their personalities:

'I should say the same things about my colleague. She is very ambitious, very collaborative and I believe she can be a reliable partner in a chamber duet, in a trio.'

In the interpretation of the two instrumentalists you could feel the joy of playing music, of being on stage in front of music lovers, in front of those who came to support them: 'We had a really good time together, singing together. It has definitely been an unforgettable experience!'
