The amazing violinists Liviu Prunaru and Valentina Svyatlovskaya will be playing for the first time on the stage of the Radio Hall two historic violins: Stradivarius 'Pachoud' made in 1694 and Andrea Guarneri 'Maria Theresia' made in 1676. Members of the prestigious Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam, considered today's most prestigious European orchestra, the two violinists, together with the Radio National Orchestra conducted by Gerd Schaller, could be listened to for the first time in Bucharest in a Concerto for Two Violins and String Orchestra by Sir Malcolm Arnold at the Radio Hall, on Friday, the 13th of May, 2011, starting at 19.00.

Furthermore, the audience will be pleased to listen to Valentin Gheorghiu as organist, with a work of his own, Choral and Classical Fugue for Organ, opening the concert.

Symphony No. 8 by Antonin Dvoűák will close the concert of the Radio National Orchestra under the baton of Gerd Schaller.
