Contemporary music gathers together the artists and the audience again this year in May. The International Week of New Music is a well-known festival that everyone is eagerly waiting for as every edition makes a perfect display of the new works and their composers and brings into the foreground the most recent musical composition. New conceptions and various angles that enable a better understanding of contemporary music as well as the artistic vision are revealed.

At the end of May, the stages in Bucharest are to host the new works performed by Romanian artists dedicated to contemporary arts as well as foreign musicians who have been invited to express their ideas and share their fulfilments during a week that celebrates music, art and the creative restlessness as well as the personal rewards, the intellectual challenges, the sharing of ideas and artistic emotions.
