National Radio Orchestra - live broadcast

The National Radio Orchestra will hold a concert with two distinguished and beloved musicians, violinist Alexandru Tomescu and conductor Horia Andreescu, on Friday, 9 March 2012, at 19:00.

The first part of the programme will include Alexander Borodin's Polovtsian Dances from the opera Prince Igor and Bela Bartók's Violin Concerto No. 2 performed by Alexandru Tomescu on the Stradivarius violin. Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Op. 78 (Organ Symphony) by Camille Saint-Saëns will be played in the second part of the concert, when the orchestra will be joined by organ player Marcel Costea.
