Today’s Radio Chamber Orchestra concert is also included in the array of anniversaries brought about by the ninety-year celebration of the foundation of the Union of Romanian Composers and Musicologists.

This time, the evening will be opened by Irinel Anghel’s musical piece, Sacred. After that, we will go back in time to a composer whose music was, is and will always be close to the music lovers’ hearts: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Two Mozartian works will echo in the ‘Mihail Jora’ studio: the Violin, Viola and Orchestra Sinfonia Concertante performed by soloists Cristina Anghelescu and Marius Nichiteanu, and Symphony No.35 (also called Haffner). If we add to all this the fact that Horia Andreescu is going to be at the music rack, we will certainly witness an extremely interesting concert.
