On February 17th, 2014, the album of the most undeniably appreciated classic guitar performer nowadays will be released internationally . We are referring to Milos Karadaglic from Montenegro and his album suggestively entitled Aranjuez - that will be presented in the Vote the Best Classical Album of 2014 campaign.

Mercury Classics Records House, part of Universal Music, presents this album as a choice to be picked around Valentine’s Day, as it is the best known as the most romantic concert for guitar and orchestra, Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez interpreted by the most skilled and charismatic guitarist today. And these are not just empty words. I have also been following Milos Karadaglic since his first debut album Mediteraneo in 2011 and until to Aranjuez, the one you are listening today. And I must admit that I have not listened to a more interesting guitarist than Milos Karadaglic for three years now. He does not only possess a very good technique, which is a real challenge for a guitarist, but he has a very personal way of feeling music, of conveying emotions, which is something that matters considerably more. This is actually his key to success. Milos has already received Gramophone, Classical Brit and Echo awards and has sold no less than 260.000 albums in his first three years of working with Universal Music. He is also the debutant that has sold the most albums in these past years.

Aranjuez also contains three songs just for the guitar as a demonstration that Milos Karadaglic is a subtle musician which does not want to astound with his technique, but to persuade through his musical ideas.

In the album trailer you will be able to enter the scenes behind the making of the disc. You can see and admire Milos Karadaglic, whom is not only an excellent performer but also a very attractive man, a feature that is not quite disregarded in today’s music industry’s market. You will also notice the charismatic conductor Yannick Nezet Seguin, presently the main conductor of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. Two young men that are writing history: Milos Karadaglic from Montenegro will turn 31 years old in 2014, and Yannick Nezet Seguin is 38 years old.

The album Aranjuez ends with Fantasía para un gentilhombre (Fantasia for a Gentleman) by Joaquin Rodrigo.
