In 2013 and 2014 the recordings of the duo formed by the violinist Răzvan Stoica and the pianist Andreea Stoica were made in the Radio Romania studios; the album which contains these recordings will be launched by 'Casa Radio' Publishing House in December 2014.

Răzvan Stoica's talent and his extremely expressive performative style have brought him the 1st award in the EURORADIO New Talent Competition in Bratislava. He won the award in 2013, when he participated in that competition at Radio Romania Music's proposal. Răzvan was the first Romanian to win this competition in 40 years since it was founded. This important competition is the only one addressed to performers aged between 18-28 and it was developed under the patronage of the European Broadcasting Union.

The album features Pablo de Sarastre's Introduction et Tarantelle, op. 43, Fritz Kreisler's Caprice Viennois, Henryl Wieniawski's Polonaise de Concert, Ciprian Porumbescu's Balada, Eugene Ysaye's Caprice after a study in form of waltz, Nicolo Paganini's La Streghe, Pugnani-Kreisler's Fratres de Arvo Part, Prelude and Allegro, Fritz Kreisler's Chinese Tambourine and Maurice Ravel's Tzigane.

Răzvan Stoica is playing a Stradivarius violin made in 1729. He won it at the Strad competition in Salzburg in 2009. 'Thanks to his charming temper, his ravishing vocal stamp, his flawless technique and his perfect intonation, he will soon become one of the best violinists of his generation' wrote Meunsteriche Zeitung.

After studying for years in Maestro Modest Iftinchi's class, Răzvan Stoica went to the Royal Conservatory in Amsterdam to continue his studies under Ilya Grubert's guidance. There he formed the Stoica Duo with his sister, and the two of them perform in various location, such as, Amsterdam, Paris, Brescia and Santander.

Not only his concertistic career makes the violinist Răzvan Stoica notable, but also hin numerous recordings, among which we mention the complete series of Paganini's Caprices or Edouard Lalo's Spanish Symphony for Piano and Orchestra, op. 21 which the violinist performs with Beethoven Academy Orchestra from Krakow.

'Ever since I was born I developed a special connection with the piano. We had one in our house, as my father was a musician. Like any parent who's also a musician, he hoped that his children would follow in his footspeps and inherit his talent, and be able to play a waltz by Chopin. At first, it was only a hobby until I had to face the choice whether or not I would like to continue studying music. Ever since I was ten my choice was crystal clear to me: I would keep on playing the piano.' declared the pianist Andreea Stoica.
