At the end of March, following a series of high-quality music events, the Radio Hall is expecting its audience to another remarkable concert, under the baton of the French conductor Julien Salemkour, from the Berlin State Opera, where he conducted more than 200 opera and ballet performances and symphony concerts. In the course of time he was guest-conductor for several prestigious institutions such as the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Semperoper in Dresden, Staatskapelle in Berlin and the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.

The programme on Friday evening, 29th March, 7 p.m. will occasion an encounter with one of the most appreciated scores of the Czech composer Antonin Dvoűák: Requiem, a work which reflects the composer's dilemmas regarding the human condition. The score will be interpreted by the National Radio Orchestra with the participation of vocal soloists with a vast activity, both in Romania and abroad: the soprano Sorina Munteanu- soloist of the National Opera in Bucharest, the mezzo-soprano Cornelia Oncioiu - collaborating with several prestigious institutions in France, the tenor Marius Budoiu - soloist and general manager of the National Romanian Operain Cluj-Napoca and the Czech bass Jan Martinik, currently employed by the famous lyric theatre Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin. You'll also have the chance to applaud the Radio Academic Choir, conducted by Dan Mihai Goia.
