Amit Baumgarten: The 'Times of change' Album – Jazzy Hour, October 26th 2017

As we have become accustomed to the wave of exceptional musicians who have come from Scandinavia with a new tendency to approach contemporary jazz, or the diversity with which French musicians have enriched the phenomenon, we are also seeing more and more musicians from Israel, who are being formed in a very good musical environment, and then continue in better centers in more diversified environments, becoming universal representatives of this common language of open minds.

Amit Baumgarten is one of the strong guitarists who made his debut on stage and quickly became a point of attraction through virtuosity, composition and the maximum level at which he conceived his musical productions. In 2017 he released his debut album "Times of Change", which contains just about everything a modern musician can offer: clear, complex themes, first-class colleagues and a wonderful repertoire of their own, abundant in swing, in familiar piano and guitar sounds, but also in up-to-date language, containing rock and eastern ethos, acceptable in a well-measured fusion and fresh and admiringly fluent expression.

"Times of Change" gives you the comfort of the first audition, makes you think that everything is progressing naturally, and the encounter with the new, with the big artists at their debut, becomes a familiar event.
