Times flies by for everyone, and that's why we don't realize how quickly the time passes between the revelation of a new name and one of its anniversaries, which marks decades of their activity. The vocal groups, a Capella, were formed once with the complex musical harmony, and when it comes to jazz, they were perfected after the Bosswell sisters combined the rigor of the classical arrangement with the imagination aroused by orientation in harmony.Manhattan Transfer, Singers Unlimited, The Real Group, Take 6 are already veterans, and New York Voices is celebrating their 30th anniversary through an album with style and a repertoiretackled with imagination.

The vocals are precisely written and with no complications and one could almost sense the joy of singing. Provingartistry in musical territory that is sometimes overlooked, The New York Voices puts their incredibly harmonized voices into colorful hypostases, moving from IvanLins' effervescent composition to Cole Porter's swing, and to the Beatles' perennial songs, backed up by a group of remarkable instrumentalists.

"Reminiscing in Tempo" is mostly made up of classical songs, already known or waiting to be discovered in their current form, as well as a couple of original titles, including the theme title. The new production from New York Voices can be perceived as a refining of this vocal force in a moment of celebration, during which not even time can afflict the passion and qualities of exceptional artists.
