Two young French musicians, violonist Brieuc Vourchand pianist Guillaume Vincent have launched on the 16th July 2021, at Farao classics record label, an album through which they propose a new interpretative version of two sonatas for violin and piano - Sonata Op. 18 in E-flat major by Richard Strauss and Sonata in A major by César Franck. Two difficult and complex works from technical point of view, which mark the musical debut of the two musicians. I chose to deliver the first title - Sonata Op. 18 in E-flat major by Richard Strauss, a creation from the composer's youth, a score which places the two performers in a position of equal partners.

Having a dashing performance, a full consonance between the two artists, passages of impeccably performed virtuosity and particularly emotional lyrical moments, the sonata takes on a pleasant new insight. It is also to mention the technical quality of the recording, with a sound that distinguishes itself through clarity and balance.

A successful debut album whichmakesusfollowthe artistic path of violonist Brieucand pianist Guillaume Vincent.

The album is included in ''Disk Records of 2021'' project performed at Radio România Muzical.
