”The Extraordinary Ballet Gala” and ”The Barber of Seville” – Opera in concert, broadcasted online by The National Opera of Bucharest

The National Opera of Bucharest presents to the public at the end of the week a program with two concerts, "The Extraordinary Ballet Gala" and "Barber of Seville" by Gioachino Rossini­ - Opera in Concert which will be broadcasted online on Saturday and Sunday. The grace of classical choreographies and the particular enchantment of the score of the reputed Figaro barber represents our proposals for two magical nights.

On Saturday, April 24th, starting at 7 pm, The National Opera of Bucharest presents in online "The Extraordinary Ballet Gala". Tickets are availabe on https://tickets.operanb.ro/, until Tuesday, April 27th, 7:00 pm. The recording will be availabe for viewing for 72 hours, starting from Saturday, April 24th, at 7:00 pm.

The prime ballet-dancers, soloists and the ballet corpus of the National Opera of Bucharest will offer a exhibition of skill, mastery and excellence within this "The Extraordinary Ballet Gala". The show will include many succesful coreography moments from the classical universal repertoire, "Swan Lake", "Don Quijote", "Le Corsaire", "Giselle", "Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcraker".

On Sunday, April 25th, starting at 7 pm, we present to you "The Barber of Seville" by Gioachino Rossini­, opera in concert. At the conductor's music stand will be master Ciprian Teodorașcu. Tickets are availabe on https://tickets.operanb.ro/, until Thursday, April 28th, 7:00 pm. The recording will be availabe for viewing for 72 hours, starting from Sunday, April 25th, at 7:00 pm.

On Sunday, the National Opera of Bucharest present to all music lovers a opera beloved by the Romanian audience since its first appearance on stage, as all Rossini's operas were."Barber of Seville" was always performed sold-out. "Romanians preffer the sound of Rossini" wrote the journalist and writer Pantazi Ghica în 1874 in "The Contemporary".
