On Friday, April 23rd, 2021, from 19.00, the "George Enescu" Philharmonic will broadcast, on online channels, the recording of a concert conducted by HoriaAndreescu in February 2020, with a full program,Ludwig van Beethoven. The great pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja was the soloist invited to perform, in the series "Beethoven 250", Concerto no. 2, in E flat major, for piano and orchestra, op. 19 of the great German composer. The symphony orchestra of the "George Enescu" Philharmonic also had in the program, in the Great Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum, the Egmont Overture and the Symphony no. 4, in E flat major, op. 60.

Elisabeth Leonskaja, who studied piano in the spirit of the tradition of the great Soviet musicians - David Oistrah, Sviatoslav Richter and Emil Ghilels - won in 1964, in Bucharest, the piano competition "George Enescu" ."After winning this competition, I happily returned every time to sing on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum. It was a great success , my concert career probably started from that moment when I won the Enescu Competition," the artist pointed out in an interview.
