The fifth edition of the International Guitar Festival starts on March 16^th. Italian, Spanish, Brazilian, German, Turkish and Romanian music composed for the guitar in the 18^th century will resound in the ´Mihail Jora´ Studio until March 23^rd.

From Tuesday to Sunday, you are invited to the recitals and concerts featuring conductor Gian Luigi Zampieri, the Zamfirescu Trio, the band Imago Mundi, guitar players Ana Vidovic, Riccardo Gallen and Bogdan Mihăilescu.

Wednesday, March 16^th - the opening concert of the International Guitar Festival with the Radio Chamber Orchestra, conductor Gian Luigi Zampieri and guitarist Ricardo Gallen in Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco's Guitar Concerto No.1 in D Major, Op.99.

The programme includes scores signed by Ildebrando Pizzetti, Giovanni Pannella and Camille Saint-Saëns. The concert in the ´Mihail Jora´ Studio is broadcast live on Radio Romania Music, from 19:00.
