National Radio Orchestra - live broadcast

The Radio Music Bands are celebrating the Radio Day with a concert-event which will take place on Friday, the 28^th of October at the Radio Hall, thus, marking eighty-third years since the first radio broadcast. The public from Bucharest will have the opportunity to see again mezzo-soprano Ruxandra Donose and tenor Marius Vlad Budoiu together with the National Radio Orchestra, conducted by Julien Salemkour.

The programme will include in its first part Piano concerto no. 23 in A majorby Mozart, with Julien Salemkour as soloist.

After returning to the Radio Hall stage in 2010 with La mort de Cléopâtre by Berlioz, then in the beginning of year 2011 with Ravel's L'heure espagnole and L'enfant et les sortilèges, this time Ruxandra Donose will perform Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde, together with tenor Marius Vlad Budoiu, during the second part of the concert.
