National Radio Orchestra - live broadcast

Violoncellist Laura Buruiană is the guest of the concert held on Friday, the 9^th of December 2011, at 19.00, by the National Radio Orchestra, under the baton of Bulgarian conductor Viktor Ilieff.

The Overture of Freischütz by Carl Maria von Weber will be performed in the opening of the concert, and then we will listen to Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85 by Edward Elgar, composed in 1919, the last significant work finished by the composer before his retirement from the musical world. The second part of the concert will bring to you the performance of Symphony No. 3 in D major, Op. 29 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
