Friday, 2 March 2012, starting with 19.00, the desk of the National Radio Orchestra will be taken over by the French conductor Christophe Mangou, who worked as assistant conductor for the London Symphony Orchestra and was second conductor of some great baton maestros: Sir Colin Davis, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Mariss Jansons, Bernard Haitink, Emmanuel Krivine, Michael Tilson Thomas, Antonio Pappano.

The soloist of the concert held on Friday evening will be pianist Luiza Borac, a name already well-known on all great stages of the world.

The concert programme comprises Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major, Op. 83 by Johannes Brahms and Symphony No. 9, Op. 95 in E Minor "From the New World" by Antonin Dvoűák.
