Wednesday, 25 April 2012, 19.00, the Radio Chamber Orchestra invites you to a symphony concert that will have as guest conductor Amaury du Closel, known by the Romanian audience from his frequent attendance at the conducting desk of many Romanian orchestras. The soloist of the concert will be pianist Dana Borşan.

In the opening of the programme will be performed Legends No. 6 and No. 7, Op. 59, two of the ten short works composed by Antonin Dvořák, in various keys, filled with freshness and vigour. Next we will listen to Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, op. 15 by Ludwig van Beethoven, which will have as soloist pianist Dana Borşan.

In the second part of the programme will be performed Serenade No. 2 in A major, Op. 16 by Johannes Brahms, composed in 1856 and presented to the audience one year later, in Hamburg. This is a work where Mozartean elements are found, the creator long admired by Johannes Brahms.
