A Paris recital in little Paris, this is what the two protagonists of the recital on 29 May 2012 propose. This recital will be held at the Radio Hall starting with 19.00. The programme is in celebration of composers Claude Debussy and Jacques Ibert; in between works signed by them, there will also be performed works by André Jolivet, Camille Saint-Saëns and Francis Poulenc.

Matei Ioachimescu is one of the most representative musicians of his generation, whose international career is marked by concerts held in prestigious halls such as Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest or Tokyo Suntory Hall. The flautist has in his record an important number of works, and his talent has been repaid in national and international competitions.

The pianist Cătălina Butcaru is an acclaimed presence on the great international stages, also leading an intense artistic activity in her adoptive country: Austria. One CD recorded in the famous Wigmore Hall represents an important business card for the artist, a record with works by Berg, Schumann and Ravel in exceptional performances.
