The Academic Radio Choir is celebrating seventy years of existence

The International Federation for Choral Music has decided that December 9th should be the International Day of Choral Music – an atemporal date.

But, in 2010, the Academic Radio Choir is celebrating seventy years of existence, which represents a very concrete date.

Both of them are reunited for an extraordinary South American music concert (dedicated to Christmas time) that the band is to perform in the ‘Mihail Jora’ Studio, on December 9th, 2010; the audience will be delighted with works by Ariel Ramirez, Jorge Moreira and Hermes Coehlo, whose very names are filled with music. The Academic Radio Choir conducted by its master, Dan Mihai Goia, invites you to take a test that you cannot fail: imagine, in the dead of winter, that you are in sunny South America.

On Thursday 9th, 2010, at 7 PM, in the ‘Mihail Jora’ Studio, or broadcast live on Radio Romania Music, you can take part at a December evening with exotic carols.
