Lovano, a musician whose spectrum extends beyond the history of modern jazz, sings with exceptional sensitivity and the music he writes for this group, melodic and harmonically open, rhythmically free and with spiritual involvement, encourages the subtle responses of the partners. The sense of space is perfect between Lovano and Castaldi, developing an improvisational relationship that the two have shared since the '70s.
