At 19 years old, Kenny Barron had already been a master of piano when he arrived in New York, in 1962. After spending five years with Dizzy Gillespie, he accumulated the influences that he needed in order to forge his own musical path. In 2023, we listen to him in full form, on his first solo piano album recorded after almost 40 years.
