Monday, 8^th of March, we pay homage to one of the most well-known and appreciated lady of the Romanian music and culture: the pianist Ilinca Dumitrescu. The presentation ofher most recent album, Piano recital. Early recordings. Schumann, Liszt, Skriabin, Rahmaninov, released by the Casa Radio Publishing House, will take place at 12 o'clock, on Facebook's official pages of the Gaudeamus Radio Romania Book Faire, Casa Radio Publishing House and Radio România, on which occasion the reputed pianist will be the protagonist of an interview conducted by the musical editor Tiberiu Comandașu. Starting with 13.05 o'clock, on the show "Polifonii" broadcasted by Radio România Muzical, it will be presented a musical portrait of Ilinca Dumitrescu, on which occasion you will be able to enjoy the audition of a fragment from her record Piano Recital.

The album Ilinca Dumitrescu - Piano Recital, included into Maestro collection of the Casa Radio Publishing House, contains the recordings from the Radio Romania's Sound Archive of some iconic creations of the romantic pianistic repertory in the interpretation of the prestigious artist: Kreislerianaby Robert Schumann, Mephisto-Valse by Franz Liszt, Trei Preludii by Aleksander Skriabin and a Studiu-tablou by Serghei Rahmaninov.

A brand name of the interpretative Romanian Art, artistic personality with and international dimension,the pianist Ilinca Dumitrescu is the winner of the most important cultural prizes from Romania (The Romania Academy's Award-1995, The Award of The Romanian Cultural Institute-2003, The Radio Romania Cultural Award2005 etc.) and, also, of many international awards (such as Commendatore dell'Ordinedella Stella della Solidarieta' Italiana-2005, handed over by the Italian Republic's President, and Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres-2012, given by the French Government). In 2013, Ilinca Dumitrescu received The Romanian Musical Forum's award for her whole career, after a prestigious artistic career which spanned five decades.
