Tuesday, October 19^th, the Bucharest National Opera House is celebrating World Ballet Day by webcasting the Extraordinary Ballet Gala, starting at 7 p.m.

The principal dancers, the soloists and the corps de ballet of the Bucharest National Opera House will give a demonstration of talent, skill and excellence in this "Extraordinary Ballet Gala". The show will include highly praised choreographic moments from the international classical repertoire, "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote", "Il corsaro", "Giselle", "Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcracker".

Tickets can be bought on https://tickets.operanb.ro/ until Sunday, October 24^th, 7 p.m. The recording of the event will be available for viewership for six days, starting from Tuesday, October 19, 7 p.m.

The initiative was launched in 2014 by the Royal Ballet of the Royal Opera House and is a chance for the ballet lovers to have virtual access to the backstage of the greatest ballet companies in the world.
