To mark the Christmas holiday, the European Commission Representation in Stockholm is organizing a concert of traditional carols on Tuesday, 14^th of December 2021, in collaboration with the diplomatic missions of the 16 Member States of the European Union. The concert will take place at the Adolf Fredriks Church in Stockholm, from 18.00.

Each country will be represented by a musical group, which will perform a carol in their own language, and at the end the guests and the audience will sing together a carol in Swedish. Romania will be represented by the Vatra Quartet, musically coordinated by soprano Silvia Luca. The group includes four members, Gabriel Alexe, Pavel Alexe, Petru Alexe and Alexandru Spulber. The Vatra group will perform the carols "La poartă la Țarigrad" and "Bună dimineața la Moș Ajun!". Romania's presence at this concert is organized by ICR Stockholm, in collaboration with the Romanian Embassy in the Kingdom of Sweden.

The first edition of the Christmas concert of the European Commission representation in Stockholm took place in December 2019.
