The second edition of the concert "The Harmonies of Hope" took place on the 9^th of December 2023 at the National Opera Bucharest. Held under the high patronage of his Excelence, Klaus Iohannis, the president of Romania, the event aimed to support the cancer patients and to draw the attention of the civil societies and the companies from the health field on the quality of the life of the cancer patients whose sufferance goes on beyond the hospital salon needing the same care and attention.

Famous doctors in their specialities or young doctors at the beginning of their career have untied their effort of also treating differently the ones in need.

"You have to love people to build a better world", said the event director, the surgeon Remus Nica.

Next to the orchestra of the doctors "Dr. Ermil Nichifor" and the Romanian National Choir have come on the scene in the extraordinary concert "The Harmonies of Hope", the soprano Madalina Barbu, the pianists Sorin Zlat and Alexandru Burca and the violinist Alexandru Tomescu.

Like in the previous edition, the event had a special guest- the Britannic soprano Lesley Garrett, an artist with an important career on the lyrical scenes. The event had two conductors: Daniel Jinga and Iosif Ion Prunner.
