'George Enescu's Symphony no. 2 deserves to be listened to first of all for the feeling of freedom you get when you begin to understand it; it gives you a sense of freedom, a sense of flight, of hovering in control, how should I put it, it cancels gravity somehow, it's very difficult to explain… It always sends me into a realm of freedom, it sends me beyond the clouds; there's something otherworldly about it,' Tiberiu Soare told us passionately.

On Thursday, 27^th February, 2014, during the show 'Polyphonies,' you will be able to listen to this epic masterpiece by Enescu in an extraordinary interpretive version, with a fresh and energetic vision, as is, in fact, the current generation of our symphonic ensemble, led by its main conductor. It is a recording made in the Radio Romania studios in the summer of 2013, edited on a record which was released by 'Casa Radio' Publishing House at the end of 2013.

The album is included in the 'Vote for the best classical album of 2014' campaign.
