At present, she is one of the most important Romanian opera singers and a specialist of the Bel Canto repertoire. Her name is Elena Moşuc. ″Bel Canto perfectly fits my voice″, she states. ″And I believe that Donizetti′ s queens, together with the tragic Lucia, are among the most interesting characters, not only of the Bel Canto genre, but of the entire opera literature, as well″. At the end of November 2013, a new Donizetti Heroine album was released by Sony Classical; in this album, the Romanian soprano Elena Moşuc performs the most popular pieces of Gaetano Donizetti′ s work, a famous composer of the Italian Bel Canto, together with Bellini and Rossini.

In August 2013, she was the soloist of the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg in a concert which you will be able to listen to on Radio Romania Music, during the Five-Star Concerts Show on Thursday, 27^th March, 2014. However, in these concerts you will meet not Elena Moşuc - the specialist of Bel Canto, but Elena Moşuc, the Mozartian singer. The programme of the 18^th August concert comprised exclusively classical works: Mia speranza adorata- Ah non sai qual pena, Misera!dove son-Ah! Non son io and Vorrei spiegarvi, oh Dio, the Symphony no.34 in C major KV 338 by Mozart and the Symphony no. 104 in D major by Joseph Haydn. Together with Elena Moşuc, the Mozarteum Orchestra conducted by Ivor Bolton will be also present.
