"A special musical season, where Sound has the leading role and the audience`s emotion ison the stage" - this is how the pianist Florian Mitrea welcomed the music lovers, in his short introduction at the Small Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum on 15^th April, 2014.

It was an equally anticipated and pleasant event with a numerous, eager and enthusiastic audience, that was interested in the piano recital which had already been acknowledged in the musical scenery and which had an important track record. The 3rd award at The 63rd ARD International Music Competion Munich in 2014 is the latest acknowledgement of the pianist Florian Mitrea`s talent. He has already performed the recital at the Eroica Saal in Wien and in London at St. Martin-in-the -Fields, St. James`s Church, Steinway Hall, Drapers' Hall and King's Place. It is an important business card for a 25 years old pianist, an MA student at the Royal Music Academy in London.

Florian Mitrea, the protagonist of the recital performed at the Small Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum on 15^th April, 2014, proposed for the Tuesday Evening Season works by Claude Debussy, Franz Liszt, Franz Schubert and Serghei Prokofiev.
