The ‘World Music’ concept refers to the traditional or popular music in some culture, which is interpreted and created by musicians which are native to that respective culture, as they are spiritually tied to their homeland (Wikipedia).

But if we are to talk about the phenomenon which is currently under the ‘World Music’ umbrella term, we will realize that the general tendency is to return to the origins, thus facilitating the branching of such influences in some of the most diverse genres in the musical sphere.

It is my suggestion that every Saturday, at noon we should try to discover those artists who dedicate their activity to the enrichment of some genres through the implementation of the traditional sounds of the are, but especially to discover that music, through the ‘corruption of World Music’, can surprisingly take on a very distinctive hue.
