Sebastian Gheorghiu, cultural manager, member of the board and director of UCIMR, live guest on “Jazz Planet”, Sunday, March 22nd, at 6 PM
Organized by The Romanian Association of Music Performers (UCIMR), the Jazz Cave Festival will reach its sixth edition this summer, featuring prominent guests from Romania and abroad.
UCIMR, together with the George Enescu Philharmonic, has also launched the Jazz Season at the Romanian Athenaeum, an excellent platform for both Romanian and international musicians. Through the Excess Music agency, Sebastian Gheorghiu is also involved in the Romanian Youth Jazz Orchestra project, an ensemble that has already performed twice alongside the Radio Big Band.
In the interview conducted by host Viorel Grecu, we will find out directly from the source about the challenges of organizing a jazz event in Romania, how the relationship between a manager and an artist works, and what led Sebastian Gheorghiu to dedicate himself to this field.
We invite you, therefore, to discover jazz from a less familiar perspective: that of the person behind the scenes, the one who plans the events and makes the direct connection between artist and audience possible.
"Jazz Planet" - Sunday, March 22nd, at 6 PM.
