On Sunday, 17^th February from 20:30, in national premiere, the audience can listen to the album that was awarded the 2013 Grammy for the category "Best Opera Recording". It is about recordings from the collection of the Metropolitan Opera House, released under the recording label Deutsche Grammophon, including selections from of all the musical dramas that comprise the cycle of four full-length operas, The Ring of the Nibelung by Richard Wagner. Conductors are Fabio Luisi and James Levine, and from among the Hall of Fame of opera singers, stars like Jonas Kaufmann, Stephanie Blythe and Bryn Terfelfrom the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. For jazz lovers, the four editions - in which there were broadcast the four albums awarded with a Grammy on 10^th February, 2013 - will be rescheduled on Radio Romania Music starting on Thursday, 14^th February from 19:00, weekly. There will be presented the recordings that won the categories: "Best Improvised Jazz Solo", the album Hot House- Gary Burton and Chick Corea, soloists; "Best Jazz Vocal Album", Radio Music Society- Esperanza Spalding; "Best Instrumental Jazz Album "- Unity Bandby Pat Metheny Unity Band and "Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album" - Dear Diz - Arturo Sandoval. Monday, 18^th February starting at 20:00, Radio Romania Music broadcasts one of the albums of classical music nominated at the 2013 Grammy Awards for the category "Best orchestral Performance", Rachmaninoff: Symphonic Dances performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev and the Symphony In Three Movements by Igor Stravinsky. The album is included in the campaign "Cast your vote in the poll for the best classical album of 2013" and it is broadcast with the soundtrack of "Music Box" produced by Cristina Comandasu.
