This autumn, The Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company celebrates its 85^th anniversary by organizing Grand Prix Nova, the International Radio Drama Festival.

This sort of event is unique in Romania in matter of width; 21 persons from Europe, Asia, South America and The Middle East have entered with 56 innovative radio programmes for the first edition of this competition.

This festival is sponsored by Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret of Romania and The International Radio and Television Union (URTI). The jury includes celebrities from the radio drama world, such as Mr. Nils Heyerdahl, the chirman of the Norwegian Academy of Language and Literature. He is appointed Honorary Chairman of the Jury.
