The Tenor Bogdan Mihai at 'An Evening at the Opera' - a Special Edition

The tenor Bogdan Mihai, with his intense international activity, is Luminița Arvunescu's guest on a special edition of 'An Evening at the Opera', live on FM (97, 6 and 104, 8), but also in audio-video on the website: www.romania-muzical.ro, on Tuesday, 3rd December, between 19:30 - 21:00.

The audio recording of this broadcast, as well as the audio-video one, will be later posted on the website www.romania-muzical.ro and also on the youtube account of the only Romanian radio station dedicated to classical music.

The tenor Bogdan Mihai is currently one of the most interesting and reputed young Romanian singers to perform abroad. In the past seasons, he collaborated with the Amsterdam, Stuttgart and Strasbourg Operas; this season, he has shows and concerts scheduled to take place at the Berlin Philarmonic, under the baton of Simon Rattle, at the Baden Baden Festival and at the Stuttgart State Opera.

Bogdan Mihai studied in Italy under the guidance of the famous soprano Mirella Freni. In 2008 he made his debut at the Bucharest National Opera as Count Almaviva in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville). The international press has already named him 'the new king of the coloratura'.
