Bryan Terfel, one of the stars of Royal Opera, leads the distribution of this Donizetti new production, which is about the comic of a domestic drama over two generations. The intelligent story of a middle-aged man who is outpaced by his young wife, having her own romantic purpose in mind, has delighted and surprised audiences over time.
