"This year we were thrilled of being able to hold open-air concerts, with valuable musicians, in many parts of the country. All concerts were free to the public and we'll continue to offer in the same way the concerts that will be held online in the first part of the SoNoRo Festival. In this difficult year the access to culture was restricted by regulations meant to protect the public health. We wanted to somehow compensate this by offering free access through digital platforms to the ones who want to enjoy music. We thank the people who want to support us with this action and will donate, however we'll not restrict the access to concerts for the ones who will not be able to do so. We'd be thrilled to have as many spectators as possible at the opening of the Festival, we'll feel the good energy that they'll transmit to us, as well as the virtual applause, in the absence of the real ones from the concert halls, without which we'll be a bit sadder this year", declared Răzvan Popovici, the Executive Director of the SoNoRo Festival.
The musiciansthat will held the first concerts of the anniversary edition of the SoNoRo Festival are: AlissaMargulis (violin), Mihaela Martin (violin), Francesco Ionașcu (violin) Răzvan Popovici, (viola), Justus Grimm (cello), Frans Helmerson (cello), Diana Ketler (piano) and Ionuț Ștefănescu (flute).
