Following the ceremony held at the Cotroceni Palace on the 15th of January, celebrating the National Culture Day, several personalities of the cultural field participated at the festivity where the Romanian President, Mr. Klaus Iohannis, conferred a series of orders and medals.

In this context, the "Romanian Youth" National Art Center received the Order of "Cultural Merit"in Officer grade, Category F - "The Promotion of Culture", as a sign of appreciation for the contribution to the cultural development of our country, for the dedication in the educational process through culture for people of all ages, attesting excellence at a national and international level.

The professor and cellist Marin Cazacu, manager of the"Romanian Youth" National Art Center spoke within the ceremony on behalf of all people decorated: "I thank you on behalf of my colleges, with whom I share the joy to be decorated today, on the National Culture Day, appreciation which honors and commits us at the same time. In these difficult times given by the coronavirus pandemic, the artists and directors of cultural institutions adapted their cultural strategies to this new situation and provided in restrictive conditions new ways to communicate the artistic emotions, which both us and them need, to the art loving public. However, we all wish to come back as soon as possible to the normality we knew before the pandemic. We dedicate our work to the ideal of living in an educated and cultivated Romania, in which the spiritual values of humanity are known, acknowledged and promoted, and the written culture alongside the contemporary creations of the Romanian people represent a source of inspiration for all of us. Culture and education were always a priority for the elites of this nation throughout history. Through our present efforts we come in line with the aspirations of our predecessors, with the thought of contributing to the spiritual development of our country in mind and bearing the hope that the future generations will continue that. I conclude by quoting MirceaEliade: "Culture is the only way of assertion before the humanityof today and the history of tomorrow"."
