‘Women’s Day Concert’ - broadcast online by the Bucharest National Opera in the month dedicated to the eternal feminine

The Bucharest National Opera is broadcasting online the Women's Day Concert in the month dedicated to the eternal muse of the lyrical universe. The concert was realized within the "Ludovic Spiess" Experimental Studio in the Arts of the Musical Show on March 8th, 2021 and will be broadcast online on Thursday, March 11th, from 7PM.

You will have the opportunity to listen to a series of pieces and canzonettas dedicated to all the girls and ladies. The masculine voices of the Bucharest National Opera are reuniting to celebrate women. An unforgettable night, devoted to the eternal feminine. The concert brings the most beautiful musical pages to the public's attention, in the interpretation of soloists Iordache Basalic, Marius Boloș, Vasile Chișiu, Daniel Filipescu, Dan Indricău, Liviu Indricău, Andrei Lazăr, Daniel Magdal, Adrian Mărcan, Filip Panait, Lucian Petrean, Iustinian Zetea, accompanied on the piano by Luminița Berariu and Ștefan Iliescu. A directorial concept by Alexandru Nagy.

The programme consists of famous pieces such as "Nessun Dorma" from Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot", "Come Paride Vezzoso" from "L'elisir d'amore" by Gaetano Donizetti, "Fin ch'han dal vino" from "Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, canzonettas such as "Torna a Surriento" by Ernesto de Curtis, "Santa Lucia" by Teodoro Cottrau, but also the neapolitan song "O sole mio" by Eduardo di Capua and Alfredo Mazzucchi and many others.
