The Bucharest National Opera proposes a programme of two performances at the end of the week, "Extraordinary Ballet Gala" and "The Barber of Seville" by Gioachino Rossini - opera in concert, which will be broadcast online on Saturday and Sunday evenings. The elegance of the classical choreographies and the special charm of Figaro's score, the famous barber are our proposals for two magic evenings.

On Saturday, April 24th from 7PM, the Bucharest National Opera presents online The Extraordinary Ballet Gala. Tickets can be purchased on https://tickets.operanb.ro/ until Tuesday, April 27th, 7PM. The recording will be available for watching for 72 hours starting Saturday, April 24th, 7PM.

The principal ballet dancers, the soloists and the ballet ensemble of the Bucharest National Opera House will offer a demonstration of talent, artistry and excellency in this "Extraordinary Ballet Gala". The performance includes very successful choreographic moments from the classical universal repertoire, "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote", "The Corsair", "Giselle", "The Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcracker".

On Sunday, April 25th from 7PM, we propose the show "The Barber of Seville" by Gioachino Rossini, opera in concert. At the conducting desk will be maestro Ciprian Teodorașcu. As for Sunday, the Bucharest National Opera House offers music lovers a piece that is very appreciated by the Romanian public since its first performance, as were all of Rossini's works. "The Barber of Seville" always had a full house. "The Romanians prefer Rossini's melody", wrote the journalist and writer Pantazi Ghica in 1874 in the "Contemporanul" Journal.
