THE MUSICAL THEATER AMBASADORII resumes the performances at the Small Hall of the National Children's Palace starting with May 15th

Tuesday, 11 May 2021 , ora 15.13

The first show to be played live is Păcală and Tândală, by Roman Vlad, a musical full of humor, which brings to the public the world of the Romanian village. Two performances will take place on Saturday, May 15th and Sunday, May 16th, both at 11am.

Directed by Atila Vizauer, the set and costumes are the creation of Viorica Petrovici, and the choreography is signed by Alis Gheorghe.

We invite you to take part in a show that feels good, a dynamic comedy, full of teachings, whose protagonists are the two well-known heroes of justice, well disguised under a conquering but apparent simplicity. In this scenic variant, the adventures of Păcală and Tândală are dressed in the clothes of folk-inspired music and dance.

Tickets can be purchased both online, on the Ticketstore.ro platform https://www.ticketstore.ro/ro/eticheta/9/teatrul-muzical-ambasadorii and physically from the Ticket Office, open in the foyer of the Small Hall of the Palace National Children's Festival, one hour before the show (within the available seats).

May's program continues with The Sunflower's Story, a special musical, dedicated to lovers of fairy tales and authentic Romanian folklore, which will be played on Saturday, May 22nd, from 6 pm and Sunday, May 23rd, from 11 am.

The conception of the show is signed by Daniel Jinga, Interim General Manager of the Bucharest National Opera, conductor of the Bucharest Metropolitan Orchestra and Master of Choir of the ONB, together with Adrian Naidin, cellist, composer and vocal performer. The scenography is the creation of Viorica Petrovici, and the choreography was conceived by Alis Gheorghe.

On Tuesday, June 1st, on the International Children's Day, another performance of the musical Păcală and Tândală is scheduled, from 6 pm.

A new musical production of the Ambassadors' Music Theater will also premiere in June. It is about Figaro Style, adaptation after the opera The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini. The staging is directed by Dan Tudor, who combines a musical masterpiece with a theatrical one, in a modern vision, outlining a very current show. Viorica Petrovici, a master in painting and tinting, is the author of the scenography, and the conductor Ciprian Teodorașcu signs the musical arrangement. Andrei Ștefan Racu plays the piano.

The first performances will take place on Saturday June 12th and Sunday June 13th, both from 6 pm. These will be followed by another series of two performances, on Saturday, June 26th, at 6 pm and Sunday, June 27th, at 11 am.
