The "George Enescu" Philharmonic Orchestra continues its public concerts, during which the halls of the AteneulRomân will be 50% occupied. In regards to the symphonic concert on Tuesday, the 3rd of June, and on Monday, the 4th of June, conducted by Christian Badea, tickets will be available on the institution's website, beginning with Monday, the 24th of May 2021, at 12:00.

The primary conductor of the philharmonic orchestra, Christian Badea, will include masterpieces written by Mozart and Schubert. The young pianist Cristian Sandrin will have his debut as soloist for the "George Enescu" Philharmonic Orchestra. The concerts on the 3rd and 4th of June will comprise the opera Don Giovanni's Overture, as well as the Piano and Orchestra Concerto no. 25 in C Major, KV503 of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, During the second part of the evening, Symphony no. 5 in E-flat Major, D 485, will be performed, written by Franz Schubert.

"With this occasion, of the first concert having the public in the flesh this year, I feel overjoyed, because I will be performing one of my favourite concertos of Mozart, under the baton of conductor Badea. It is a true privilege to be invited as soloist during these trying times for all musicians, especially for the young ones. In the last year, I have staged numerous virtual concerts, in front of cameras, of cameramen and sound engineers. I missed the rustle of the hall, the joy of applause-even the lonely phone ring in the middle of the concert! -but I especially missed the feeling of sharing such a unique experience with other people in time and space. I am thrilled that things are beginning to return to normality!", said pianist Cristian Sandrin.
