‘’The Evening of Young Choreographs’’, on the stage of Bucharest National Opera House

Under the auspieces of the U.N.A.T.C. ,,I.L. Caragiale", Bucharest departament of Choreographical Art, the event ''The Evening of Young Choreographs'', 2021, will take place. The event will be on Tuesday, 14th of December at 6:30 PM, on the stage of Bucharest National Opera House, and will bring together the best students from the choreograhpic universities in Bucharest and in the country (more precisely from the National University of Theater and Film I.L. Caragiale, Bucharest, the National Academy of Music Gh. Dima, Cluj, the National University of Arts, G. Enescu, Iași), U.N.A.T.C choreograpic graduates and young choreographs from Bucharest National Opera House.

As part of the evening we will follow the works of young people: Andreea Vălean, Daniel Dragomir, Juan Cruz Luque, Anca Stoica, Momo Sanno Peter, Jacob Connor, Sergiu Diță, Dora Berchez, Alina Ciceo, George Pleșca, Bianca Ardeleanu, Ana Mihai, Raluca Ghiță, Sofia Sitaru, Maria Gogonea, Teodora Tudose, Alexandre Plesis, Denisa Anastasiu, Cosmin Vasile, Anastasia Grigore, Bogdan Meșter, Raluca Adomnicăi, Maria-Luiza Dimulescu.

The works of thestudents from U.N.A.T.C.''I.L. Caragiale''were made in the class of the teachers: PhD associate professor Liliana Iorgulescu, PhD professor Sergiu Anghel, PhD lecturer Elena Zamfirescu, PhD lecturer Andreea Duță, PhD lecturer Andreea Tănăsescu (''The Evening of Young Choreographs'' is part of a larger project dedicated to support choreographic creation of young people and it is a national platform dedicated year after year to support the youngest Romanian Choreographers.

The project is initiated and coordonated by Andreea Tănăsescu, (PhD lecturer at U.N.A.T.C. ,,I.L. Caragiale", Bucharest):''In Romania there are too few structures that offer young choreographers permanent ways of proffesional development, logistical and financial help. We hope that, through such a project, we will help to consolidate formulas for integrating young choreographers and dancers in the local artistic environment, their financing, finding real ways of communication between these young people and the cultural institutions in Romania. We thank the leadership of Bucharest National Opera House (headmaster Daniel Jinga, the management of ONB ballet, Mr. Alin Gheorghiu, the team of professors from U.N.A.T.C. ,,I.L. Caragiale", Bucharest, departament of choreographic art and especially to PhD associate professor Liliana Iorgulescu, the director of the departament, PhD associate professor Nicoleta Demian (Music Academy, Gh. Dima, Cluj), PhD associate professor Lorette Enache (University of Arts, G. Enescu, Iași) and everyone involved in the making of the project: choreographers, professors, students, contributors).

We invite you to be with the young choreographers on the ocassion of this exceptional evening, which takes place one hundred years after the founding of Bucharest National Opera House.
