Oradea State Philharmonic is in solidarity with Ukraine and its citizens, in these dramatic moments for the neighbouring country and for the entire region and joins the Romanian authorities and civil society in firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, within its internationally recognized borders.

In this context, Oradea State Philharmonic organizes between February 28^th and March 4^th, 2022 the "Solidarity Week", a humanitarian programme organized together with the Napoca Felix Association and the Romanian National Opera Cluj-Napoca, which includes the following activities:

Urgent collection for Ukrainian refugees arriving in Romania

We collect non-perishable staple foods (canned food, oil, flour, etc.), diapers of all sizes for children, blankets and pillows, clothes sorted into 3 categories: men, women and children.

Donations can be made during the week of February 28^th - March 4^th (Monday to Friday), between 8 am - 8 pm, at the office of Oradea Philharmonic from Moscovei street, no. 5.

Choral concert "Dream, pray, love" dedicated to the Ukrainian people

The Choral Concert "Dream, pray, love" scheduled for March 3^rd is dedicated, as a symbol of solidarity, to the Ukrainian people, grievously tried. During this event, donations can be made in cash, in the box specially arranged for this purpose by the Napoca Felix Association. THEARMED MAN: A MASS FOR PEACE event by Karl Jenkins

The Oradea State Philharmonic Choir will represent the Oradea cultural institution in the welcome approach of the Romanian National Opera Cluj-Napoca to mark the recent events with a concert dedicated to introspection and awareness. The concert will be held at the Cluj Opera, on Friday March 4^th, 2022.

Illumination of the Oradea State Philharmonic

Through this symbolic gesture, the illumination of the building of Oradea State Philharmonic in the colours of the Ukrainian flag, we join the authorities and the civil society in condemning any form of violence. The illumination of the Oradea State Philharmonic will happen during the week of February 28^th - March 4^th (Monday to Friday), between 6 pm and 8 pm.
