"As long as players with such a passion continue to show up, nobody needs to worry about the future of classical music," said Frederik Hanssen in his review given to Berliner Tagesspiel, referring to cellist Valentin Răduțiu. Classical music, this fragile and sophisticated territory, lives powerfully through the relationship between players and the audience only when players breathe in. And then breathe out positively. When they make you come back and rediscover music again and again, always fresh, unveiling its almost inexhaustible dimensions. They are artists that make possible the existence of our interior dialogue with music, that experience which explains in a way why the classics of past centuries do not age. And now, through the "Poveștile de succes ale muzicii" (Music's success stories), we believe we have such players as guests. Players such as Valentin Răduțiu.

During the week when we celebrated Europe Day we spoke with an artist whose profile pleaded for openness and multiple identity. Listening to his excellent speech in Romanian, with the cleanest Transylvanian accent, you might not even consider the fact that he's German, born in München in 1986. He's Romanian by birth, German citizen, son to an extraordinary cello player who studied at the Bucharest Conservatory and who has exceeded his father; he's originally trained in a German speaking environment in Vienna, Berlin and Salzburg through his contact with some of the most valued masters of classics, Valentin Răduțiu comes with a successful, representative story on the European classical stage of the present times.
