Listening to Nicolae Moldoveanu - fascinated by the organ since his teenage years and then pursuing a career in the field of conducting - you can't fail to note (again) that what initially seemed like an "obstacle" in professional ascent can lead to decisions that - have proven favorable to the career over time. On the other hand, the testimonies entrusted to the microphone prove once again how important a teacher's personality, interest and dedication can be for the choices a young disciple will make, for his further formation. In the case of the Hunedorian violin student, the meeting with Johann Sebastian Bach's contrapuntal scores represented the impetus to get closer to the instrument for which Bach wrote them: the organ... And from here, the turning points followed in the musician's development of later.

It was complicated to study the organ (even to find such an instrument to be able to play) in the years before 1989... It is worth listening to Nicolae Moldoveanu tell about these beginnings, but also about his later European stops.. . He left Romania for more than 4 decades, first working in Germany, then studying in Switzerland and in London, the musician established in the "land of the cantons" appears quite often in Romanian musical life, and most of the recordings illustrating this series of shows were realized during his collaborations with the National Radio Orchestra.
