RRM in Iași - Interview with Mr. Bujor Prelipcean, General Director of the "Moldova" Philharmonic of Iași

Saturday, 1 October 2022 , ora 14.07

Mr. Prelipcean, soon Radio România Muzical will also broadcast in Iași. What impact do you think the presence of the only Romanian radio station dedicated to classical music will have in the "capital" of Moldova?

The impact I think will be enormous, because Radio România Muzical is very often listened to and, in recent years, it is listened to not only by specialists, but by all quality music lovers. So I can only congratulate this initiative and be glad that I will also be able to listen more easily and enjoy the good music that this radio station makes.

Looking from the perspective of the director of the "Moldova" Philharmonic, is this news a gratifying one for you, but also for the institution you lead?

Of course it is. I invite you to make a visit to the Philharmonic and to get in touch with the multitude of DVDs and CDs that we do at all our concerts and, why not, I give them to you as a gift and you can popularize them right on this newly established radio station in Iași.

Radio România Muzical has always paid attention to the musical events in the Iasi space and to the musicians who carry out their activity in Iasi. How do you see the collaboration between our station and the Philharmonic in the future?

I have noticed more and more appearances of Radio România Muzical with us and I am glad every time the people from you stop at the Philharmonic concerts or in the Philharmonic headquarters, because they are welcome. It's a kind of publicity that you give us, and that I, as a manager, can't refuse. For all this thank you!
